India Williams, Post-op Client

Post-Operation Plastic Surgery Recovery Massage - $100

Therapy should start before surgery to prepare the body for surgery. Ideal results can be achieved by getting a massage within 30 days before surgery. This will allow the body to be fully relaxed. Other things that can be done are to stop smoking, limit alcohol intake, boost protein and water intake, as well as arrange post-surgery care from friends/family or medical professionals.

Post-Op Recovery Massage

6 for $500

12 for $1,000

Post-op recovery massage lasts for approximately 8 weeks and starts 24 hours after surgery. After that, continue 3-5 within the first week (do not reopen incisions!). I will be using the 927â„¢ method of manual lymphatic drainage massage. The recommendation is 2-3 sessions a week. Along with using appropriate compression materials, such as fajas or waist trainers.

Body Contouring

Body contouring is the next step in post-op plastic surgery recovery massage which can also be used without having surgery. Contouring helps maintain and/or reshape the body. Body contouring uses non-invasive techniques along with exercise and diet to reshape the body. Compression material use is still important during this phase.

The recommended treatment plan is 4 sessions within 2 weeks, then 1-2 maintenance sessions a month for 3 months. Then, the sessions can be reduced to once a month for 6 months. The non-invasive techniques used are:

  • Wood

  • Cryotherapy

  • Radio Frequency

  • High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound

  • Laser Therapy

Compression

It's highly recommended to wear compression material to help with lymphatic drainage. Most common are faja and waist trainers. This will also help with the most common complaint of stiff body ailments.

Recommended timeline use:

1.1- 3 months, wear 23 hours a day

2.4-6 months, wear 12 hours a day

3.7-9 months, wear 6 hours a day

4.10-12 months, wear 3 hours a day
